JLBN - Setup Drupal on WAMP

Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Drupal is open-source software distributed under the GPL ("GNU General Public License") and is maintained and developed by a community of thousands of users and developers.
Before following this guide, please go to our Guides page and follow our Setup DB guide to setup a Database for Drupal; in this guide, we setup and use the information as follows

Host: localhost
Database: drupal
Username: drupal
Password: drupal

Step 1

First thing first, head over our Downloads page to grab a copy of Drupal to download and extract it on your desktop, then right click on the extracted folder and select Cut (drupal1.png)

Step 2

Now open folder www which is in folder C:/wamp by default and paste the folder drupal you've just cut (drupal2.png)
