Install & Setup Forums Guide

In this Install & Setup Forum Guide for WAMP users, we will show you how to install and setup phpBB with version 3.0 is used in this tutor guide. First thing first, you need to setup database for phpBB, please check Setup Database guide, and in this tutor guide we install and setup the database with the follow informations:

Host : localhost
Database : phpbb3
Username : phpbb3
Password : phpbb3

Step 1

You should go to our Downloads page to get the phpBB3 package which is used in this tutor guide. After downloading, unzip the package, rename the folder to "phpbb3" and move or copy the whole folder to C:/wamp/www folder. You begin to install and setup forum by typing this address below in the browser (phpbb1.jpg)

Step 2

Click on the "Install" tab will take you to the Welcome page (phpbb2.jpg)
